RROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will join the Railway Division of DNV Korea, working on projects related to railway functional safety, assessments, and software development guidance. Key responsibilities include:
Supporting functional safety and railway assessment activities, ensuring compliance with international and local standards (EN 50126 / IEC 62278, EN 50128 / IEC 62279, EN 50129 / IEC 62425, IEC 61508, ISO 26262).
Providing clients with guidance on railway software development, including architecture design, coding standards, verification & validation processes, and documentation in accordance with safety integrity levels (SIL).
Preparing and reviewing safety-related documents for client assessments, ensuring completeness and compliance.
Delivering technical advisory, training, and assessment services to clients in the railway sector.
Leading or participating in projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.

CCOMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Electric/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Electric/Electronic industry or the certification company
Technical writing skills for preparing assessment documents.
Experience in railway functional safety and RAMS (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129).
Hands-on experience with safety analysis techniques (HAZOP, FMEA, CCF analysis).
Knowledge of system/software/hardware architectural design.
Consulting experience in railway software lifecycle management and safety documentation.
Fluent communication skills in both Korean and English.
