Job Description:
Due to continued firm growth and increasing public M&A activity, we are continuing to expand our team and are seeking to add an experienced Vice President to our Mergers & Acquisitions group in our New York office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees and executes a wide variety of quantitative analyses, including discounted cash flow analysis, multiple valuation analysis, accretion/dilution analysis, leverage buyout models and credit analysis for client and investor presentations
- Collaborates with partners across the Firm to provide top-notch merger & acquisition advice to our clients
- Works directly with Executive Directors and Managing Directors in all facets of the business, including marketing and execution
- Leads, mentors, and develops Associates and Analysts, providing guidance on transaction execution, financial analysis and professional development
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4–6 years of experience as an investment banker with significant M&A transaction experience
- Ability to apply fundamentals of economic and financial analysis methods for business decisions, finance, accounting, business statistics, marketing, investment, financial forecasting and marketing at a high level
- Experience supervising Analysts and Associates in executing M&A transactions
- Demonstrated maturity, presence, attention to detail, initiative, and problem solving skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business or related field plus seven years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as Business Analyst, Client Relationship or Management Associate
- Masters Degree in Business or related field strongly preferred
Salary Expectations: USD$250,000
