You will act as a regional authority and partner to Project Managers, Sales Leads, and leadership teams, enabling disciplined identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting of threats and opportunities across the project portfolio.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:

Support regionally significant and high-risk projects with hands-on risk facilitation and oversight.

- Promote proactive risk identification and escalation at appropriate project and portfolio governance levels.
- Pre Award & Project Initiation Support
- Support Sales and Capture teams by:
- Facilitating formal risk management when triggered by Risk Navigator outputs.
- Developing and reviewing Contract Risk Registers.
- Supporting Go / No-Go, Green Team, and Contract Approval risk inputs.
- Ensure risk handover is effectively completed at award from Sales to Project teams.
- Lead and/or assure pre award risk assessments, including:
- Development of project risk context statements
- Facilitation or oversight of structured risk workshops
- Review of pre award Contract Risk Registers
- Ensure that material risks are clearly articulated and available to support:
- Gate reviews (e.g. end game / Green Team)
- Contract approval and mobilisation decisions
- Support effective handover of risk data from pursuit to delivery at project initiation and stage gates
- Governance, Reporting & Decision Support
- Establish and oversee governance for:
- Contract Risk Registers (internal/project commercial risk)
- Project Execution Risk Registers (delivery and customer facing risk, where applicable)
- Ensure:
- Risks are reviewed at mandated frequencies (minimum monthly at project level, quarterly at portfolio level)
- Risk treatments are defined, owned, and tracked
- Provide risk insights and trend analysis to Regional Project Services leadership to support portfolio level decision making.
- Ensure compliance with Worley risk governance requirements and auditable risk documentation.
Candidate Criteria
- Formal training or accreditation aligned to ISO 31000 Risk Management principles (essential).
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, Finance, or related discipline (preferred).
- Experience facilitating risk workshops and leading multi-disciplinary discussions.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Risk Management within large-scale projects (EPC/EPCM or complex service delivery environments), with a strong understanding of project lifecycle risk (pre-award to execution).
- Training and demonstrated experience in facilitated risk workshops and structured qualitative risk assessment methodologies.
