Locations: Must reside in the island of Puerto Rico.
What You Will Do:
Assist with the development of export authorization strategies for international marketing, sales, support, offshore procurement, and manufacturing of defense and dual use articles.
Prepare and submit quality export/import license applications, agreements, eligible exemptions/exceptions and other requests for USG approval.
Provide export/import authorization status updates to leadership and capture/program teams
Participate in strategic business engagement at the program level to ensure business execution, growth and compliance.
Provide consistent interpretation of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to the Power and Controls business.
Facilitate approvals for the physical export/import of hardware and other transactional activities involving controlled goods, information and services.
Work with peers and stakeholders to determine and certify appropriate legal authority for exports of dual-use commodities and technology, defense articles; hardware, technical data and defense services, including determination of the appropriate export authorization, exemption, or exception.
Assist in implementation of company procedures and instructions to support compliance with U.S. Government export/import regulations and company policy.
Participate in compliance assessments and investigations.
Develop and deliver training for employees engaged in international business activities. Review and approve technical and non-technical information, as needed prior to release to non-U.S. Persons.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Experience researching and/or applying ITAR and EAR regulations
Experience applying for, managing, and transacting against ITAR and EAR export authorizations
Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, SAP-GT, OCR EASE or similar Global Trade tools and/or systems
Qualifications We Prefer:

Flexible, cooperative and collaborative to adapt to changing U.S. Government and customer requirements
Problem solver to present recommendations to solve business challenges and address situations before issues arise
