JOB SUMMARY
This senior position, which provides health system decision support for senior management, must demonstrate subject matter expertise on several critical systems. Candidate must have the ability to work independently in a highly complex environment to design and format Health System reports, analytical presentations, and define business rules for use and display of data to monitor health system performance.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required- Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or other related fields.
- Experience
5 years business analysis and/or project experience with a minimum of two (2) years working with tools similar to, but not limited to, Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS and/or querying languages similar to SAS, SQL, or R. and
1 year experience in systems development and testing, installation, and training.
Preferred- Experience
Prior health care industry experience.
JOB DUTIES - Manages, or participates in, highly complex projects, and serves as primary customer contact. Defines and maintains project plan and schedules. Monitors compliance with definitions of project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Provides regular project status reports to customer and internal management.
- Builds positive relationships with clinical leadership, departmental personnel, and executive sponsors. Assists managerial staff in consensus building through a combination of leadership and facilitation.
- Leads the collection, interpretation and analysis of clinical and financial data to support organizational decision making, clinical and financial initiatives and strategic planning activities. Runs data queries and produces consistently accurate analyses.
- Provides practical and relevant ideas and perspectives on process or practice improvements to directors and executive leaders.
- Prepares and delivers business communications for executive level meetings such as meeting agendas, presentations and project plans. Preparation requires integrating information from various sources to create meaningful presentations for solving business problems.
- Creates business requirements documents and works with data warehouse team through entire development cycle to implement the requested changes.
- Coordinates testing of new dashboards, scorecards and other reporting platforms as well as changes to existing reporting platforms and models to ensure integrity and quality of data while providing and/or assisting in training of users.
- Develops or recommends improvements to management reporting tools as needed.
- Records time spent on projects to meet cost-recovery requirements.
- May supervise and/or train lower level analysts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
