About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven leader to join our growing team of private markets fintech and valuations specialists. As an Implementation Manager at 73 Strings, you will lead a team of Implementation Specialists, owning end-to-end delivery of client implementations while serving as a senior point of contact for leadership on strategic initiatives. You will work closely with Product, Technology, and external partners to shape how our platform evolves and is adopted by some of the largest private market firms globally. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of client success, product development, and team leadership — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, intellectually demanding environment at the frontier of AI and corporate finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee end-to-end client implementations, acting as the senior Consultant & Subject Matter Expert for sophisticated private markets investors across various strategies (Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, Real Estate, etc.) and geographies — ensuring consistent delivery quality across the team.
Drive a high standard of deliverable quality across the team, reviewing outputs and ensuring client requirements are met consistently throughout every implementation.
Partner with the Product and Technology teams to influence the product roadmap — translating client feedback and field learnings into actionable feature enhancements for our portfolio monitoring and valuation platform.
Mentor and develop Implementation Specialists, building a high-performing team through structured coaching, best-practice documentation, and ongoing skill development.
Own and maintain the implementation playbook and all related artefacts.
Own client health and engagement at a portfolio level — identifying risks early, escalating strategically, and working with leadership to define and execute remediation plans.
Collaborate with the Technology and SME teams to ensure effective development of algorithms and workflows for task automation.
Work closely with leadership on strategic initiatives, providing implementation expertise to inform go-to-market decisions, new market entry, and product positioning.
Lead and contribute to strategic projects that span implementation, product, and client success — including pilot programmes, new client onboarding frameworks, and scalability initiatives.
Build and manage relationships with key external partners, resellers, and system integrators to extend 73 Strings' implementation capability and deepen strategic alliances.
Act as a bridge between the implementation team and cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Product, Finance, Legal), ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and client commitments.
Requirements:
Graduate or post-graduate qualification with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a professional services environment within financial services, private equity, investment banking, fintech, or similar sectors — with at least 2 years in a team lead or managerial capacity.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Strong critical thinking, prioritisation, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Excellent stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership alike.
Strong understanding of Private Equity and Private Credit valuation methodologies and approaches; direct experience with client implementations in these domains is highly valued.
Strategic thinker and self-starter who sets a high bar for the team, drives continuous improvement, and thrives in an environment with significant ownership and ambiguity.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills.
