As an Analyst within Local Markets Sales, you will support client coverage and execution across Foreign Exchange and Rates, including both flow and (where applicable) structured solutions. You will work closely with Corporate Banking partners, Trading, and Research to deliver timely market updates, respond to client inquiries, execute client orders, and support solutioning aligned to client needs and applicable Bank of Thailand requirements. You will also contribute to marketing initiatives, idea generation, and transaction origination efforts, with opportunities for broader exposure across the wider Markets platform.
Job Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day client coverage across foreign exchange, foreign exchange options, and rates products.
- Execute client orders with a focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and strong follow-through.
- Provide timely market color and updates on relevant macro and local market drivers.
- Partner with senior sales, Trading, and Research to identify opportunities and develop trade ideas aligned to client objectives (hedging, funding, liquidity, yield enhancement).
- Prepare client-facing materials, including market commentary, trade rationales, scenario analysis, and pitch content.
- Coordinate client meetings and calls, including agenda planning and follow-ups.
- Apply sound judgment on suitability, risk awareness, and regulatory considerations relevant to corporate foreign exchange and rates.
- Support post-trade processes, including trade capture and booking checks, documentation coordination (where applicable), and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Operations, Middle Office, Product/Structuring, and Legal/Compliance (as needed) to support efficient execution and client service.
- Build trusted client relationships by understanding needs, communicating clearly, and responding with urgency.
- Manage competing priorities across clients, internal partners, and firm deliverables.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in a client-facing role within Global Markets / Corporate Sales / Treasury-related functions.
- Solid product knowledge across FX, FX Options, and Rates (flow and/or structured).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with comfort working with numbers, pricing logic, and market scenarios.
- Clear, concise communication and strong presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to partner effectively across functions.
- Thai language proficiency is mandatory (spoken and written).
