Educator – Busy Bees on Furlong Road

Busy Bees on Furlong Road is a 75-place service located in Queanbeyan, NSW, dedicated to providing high-quality early learning experiences in a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment. We are looking for an experienced Full Time Educator to join our passionate Hive and support children in their early years journey.

Pay Rate: $29.57 - $36.41 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience).

About the Role

As an Educator at Busy Bees on Furlong Road, you will:

• Create meaningful learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Support children’s development through engaging and play-based learning opportunities.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with a supportive leadership team and fellow educators.
• Contribute to programming, observations, and daily routines.

We are seeking candidates who have previous experience working in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting and are passionate about delivering high-quality care and education.

What You’ll Need

• Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or be actively working towards one.
• Previous experience working in an Early Childhood Education and Care environment.
• A current NSW Working With Children Check.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).
