The Regional Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing finance systems across the region. This role ensures data integrity, provides expert user support, and drives process improvements through automation and analytics. The Analyst will collaborate with finance and IT teams to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Master Data Management: Maintain and update master data fields (e.g., Accounts, Departments) to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- User Support & Issue Resolution: Respond to and resolve user requests related to PeopleSoft, delivering timely and effective support. Provide ongoing user support and proactively follow up on PeopleSoft-related issues to ensure resolution.
- Reporting & Controls: Generate, review, and monitor control reports from multiple data sources, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions.
- Transaction Reconciliation: Systematically compare and validate data across different systems to reconcile transactions.
- Journal Entry Management: Perform weekly corrections of PCW journal failures in PeopleSoft General Ledger (GL). Identify and analyze root causes of journal entry failures, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Financial Performance Analysis: Support financial performance improvement by analyzing results and monitoring variances before month-end close.
- Process Automation: Enhance productivity by developing and implementing automated financial solutions using Alteryx.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with data mining and visualization tools (QlikSense, Power BI, BI tools).
- Strong statistical analysis and financial skills.
- SQL language proficiency is a plus.
