Join Akamai's Application & API Security team as an Enterprise Architect. You will work directly with some of the world's largest enterprises. You will design, integrate, and optimize security solutions across cloud, Kubernetes, networking, and API infrastructures. Highly hands-on technical role with strategic architectural exposure. You'll help customers deploy and operationalize API Security solutions as their primary role.

You'll work beyond a single product helping customers understand how Akamai technologies work together. Delivering end-to-end application and API protection. Ideal for engineers and architects troubleshooting deep technical problems while also growing into broader enterprise architecture and security strategy. Guiding broader security and application modernization initiatives across API Security, WAAP/WAF, CDN, Bot Management, AI-powered protections, Zero Trust, and cloud security

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $119,600 - $215,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
