Everfi is a leading education technology company founded in 2008 that delivers digital learning solutions focused on real-world skills. The company provides scalable education in areas such as financial literacy, health and wellness, and workplace readiness.
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to serve as Everfi’s primary Salesforce subject-matter expert and the senior technical owner of a sophisticated, multi-line-of-business platform supporting K-12 Schools, Sponsorship and Corporate Networks, and Customer Support.
This is a hands-on, practitioner-level role designed for an experienced Salesforce professional who has operated as the senior technical authority on a heavily-customized, mature org. The successful candidate will be an active, daily user of Salesforce — diagnosing complex platform issues, modernizing legacy automation, governing the revenue integration footprint, and enabling teams across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Marketing to operate with greater speed, accuracy, and confidence. Reporting to the Director of Customer Success Operations and working in close partnership with the COO during the onboarding and systems-stabilization phase, this role understands not just Salesforce mechanics, but how the revenue process and customer lifecycle work inside Salesforce.

Senior Salesforce Administrator Responsibilities
• Serve as Everfi’s primary Salesforce subject-matter expert and the senior technical owner of the platform across all lines of business.
• Oversee day-to-day administration: configure validation rules, custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, flows, profiles, and permission sets based on evolving business requirements from Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve complex, user-reported platform issues including broken automations, permission errors, data anomalies, and integration failures.
• Manage user permissions, profiles, permission sets, and permission set groups; modernize legacy access patterns through permission-set-group migration.
• Maintain and govern integrations across the revenue tech stack, including HubSpot, Marketing Cloud Connect, Dialpad, Groove, Goldcast, and NetSuite, among others. Audit existing connections; recognize and articulate trade-offs between point-to-point and middleware-based integration architectures.
• Design, maintain, and modernize automation supporting the full revenue cycle from Lead to Close to Renewal.
• Diagnose order-of-execution, recursion, governor-limit, and cascading-automation issues across mixed workflow rule, Process Builder, flow, and Apex environments.
• Lead the migration of legacy workflow rules and Process Builders to Flow ahead of Salesforce platform sunsets.
• Own configuration and diagnosis of Salesforce CPQ (SBQQ) and Advanced Approvals (sbaa).
• Diagnose price calculation issues including price-rule evaluation order, contracted-pricing inheritance, amendment and renewal quote behavior, and MDQ segment handling.
• Maintain and modernize the existing approval-process inventory; coordinate with Finance and Sales leadership on pricing and approval-matrix updates.
• Audit and consolidate the profile and permission-set inventory; implement and maintain a least-privilege access model across human users and integration accounts.
• Review Apex security findings (CRUD/FLS, sharing) and scope remediation work for external developers when code changes are required.
• Read Apex sufficiently to author SOWs, acceptance criteria, and test scripts for external developer engagements; validate work against test results.
• Conform to and enforce Everfi’s published Apex and LWC code standards using the existing trigger-handler framework.
• Lead modernization initiatives across an org with a long history of accumulated configuration: retire dormant managed packages, orphaned integrations, unused fields, and dormant approval processes.
• Run periodic field-usage audits on hot objects to identify candidates for cleanup.
• Manage the connected app and remote site inventory; identify and disable orphaned credentials and stale connections.
• Lead the implementation of a version-controlled Salesforce deployment workflow to support release management, peer review, and rollback safety.
• Build, maintain, and evolve dashboards and reporting structures that surface pipeline health, conversion performance, and revenue attainment in real time, leveraging Salesforce reporting, Excel, Microsoft Copilot, and other data tools.
• Govern the existing reports and dashboards inventory toward consolidation and decision-support quality.
• Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable recommendations for revenue leadership.
• Contribute to forecasting and decision support by maintaining accurate dashboards and pipeline data.
• Operate a structured request intake and triage process across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams.
• Communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical leadership; surface recommendations alongside escalations.
Senior Salesforce Administrator Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator certifications required; CPQ Specialist or Sharing and Visibility Architect strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including substantial time as the senior technical authority on a heavily-customized, multi-line-of-business org in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Demonstrated CPQ (SBQQ) configuration and diagnostic experience including price rules, contracted pricing, amendment and renewal quote behavior, MDQ, and Advanced Approvals routing.
• Fluency with Salesforce order of execution, recursion-control patterns, and governor-limit diagnosis.
• Experience leading workflow-rule and Process Builder migrations to Flow at scale.
• Working knowledge of Apex sufficient to read code, scope remediation, and validate test results. Apex authoring is not required.
• Strong security literacy: CRUD/FLS, sharing, profile and permission-set modernization, integration-user hygiene.
• Experience managing complex revenue-stack integrations and recognizing architectural trade-offs.
• Demonstrated experience scoping and managing external developer engagements.
• Experience working with HubSpot and Salesforce integrations, including lead lifecycle and attribution.
• Strong Excel skills; experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot) for analysis is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to translate technical complexity for non-technical leadership.
