The Cash Management Sales Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for actively calling on clients in partnership with RMs to deepen relationships, proactively owning, responding to and anticipating future needs, challenges or risks, in addition to identifying and pursuing new clients aligned with CITI’s value proposition.
- Drives innovation on the solutions we provide clients while structuring deals to balance risk and reward.
- Provide direct sales support to Treasury Consultants in covered markets.
- Places focus on revenue-generating activities associated with the sale of Treasury Products and Services.
- Prepares proposals and pricing analysis, assist with RFPs and presentations, coordi‐nate exception pricing, coordinate data input for tracking pipeline and activity.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with Treasury Consultants and Bankers that are directly supported. Serves as strategic advisor to RM and Client.
- Provides coverage on product sales-related inquiries from Treasury Sales, Bankers, other internal partners and clients
- Shares knowledge with other sales consultants and junior staff
- Executes on strategic initiatives
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all time
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6-10 years commercial banking experience
- Undergraduate business degree
- Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships
Education:
- Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
