About the Role:
Reporting to the local site facilities manager, the Business and Facility Support Officer in C4i Solutions, plays a pivotal role in assisting and supporting our Defence clients. This is an opportunity to learn a variety of skills and gain exposure to a wide range of project and business operations activities due to the fast-growing, diverse and regional nature of the team.
This role requires an NV2 clearance and is located onsite in Orchard Hills, Western Sydney.
About the role:
- Provide personnel and facilities administration activities including site inductions, escorting, on-boarding/off-boarding for a zone 4/5 facility.
- Support project and site document management including preparation and curation of status reports, risk and issue registers, briefs, and other related documents.
- Assist with setting up project meetings and co-ordinating key personnel.
- Assist with records and information management, including storage and dissemination of business and technical project data and administering a records system.
- Support simple and comprehensive procurements related to facilities management, in accordance with Commonwealth and Defence Procurement Policies and Divisional/Branch/SPO processes.
- Drafting of endorsement to Proceed (EtP), Section 23 (S23), and AE 643 (Defence Purchasing) documents.
About you:
- Australian citizen (required for Defence projects) with a min AGSVA NV2 clearance, and able to work across ITAR.
- Cert 4 in Project Management, Administration or similar qualification
- Previous experience in a project support officer role
- Defence experience would be advantageous
- Experience working with Project Management tools, and Microsoft Office
- Exposure to Defence Industry
- Experience working across enterprise Defence project environments.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Builds positive relationships and manages stakeholders effectively.
- Works well independently and takes initiative.
- Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Adapts easily to change and works well in a team environment.
