Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a group of technicians and manage contractors in the execution of maintenance activities
- Support the day to day operations of large scale chilled water plants and HVAC
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) for AHU, FCU and associated chilled water system.
- Develop and implement work plans, including purchase requisitions, selection/evaluation of contractors, as well as maintenance activities scheduling and costing
- Perform frontline troubleshooting of airside systems, including: Air Handling Units (AHU) / Fan Coil Units (FCU). Associated chilled water control valves, actuators, sensors, pumps, VSDs etc
- Attend to operational faults, customer complaints, alarms, and system abnormalities, and carry out root cause analysis where required
- Ensure system availability, reliability and service delivery targets are achieved
- Arrange, supervise, and follow up on corrective maintenance and breakdown works
- Liaise and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and OEMs to ensure maintenance and repair works are carried out safely and effectively
- Act as frontline technical support to customers, attending site meetings and address operational and air conditioning related issues
- Review service and maintenance reports and escalate any recurring or critical issues
- Support implementation of energy efficient operating practices during daily operations and maintenance activities
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company safety procedures and site requirements
- Support operational reporting and documentation as required by the customer
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering or eqivalent
- 5-8 years experience in operations and maintenance of large chilled water plants
- Hands on experience with Chilled water systems in commercial, industrial, or utility environments
- Good practical knowledge of chilled water distribution to airside systems
- Able to troubleshoot HVAC and ACMV system faults independently
- Strong safety mindset and proactive approach to problem solving
