As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Agent in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support lobby and restricted area protocols in accordance with site policies.
- Prepare clear reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observed conditions, and communicate relevant updates to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
