What You Will Do
- Process payroll accurately and timely for employees across the organization
- Verify attendance, hours worked, commissions, pay adjustments, deductions, and payroll changes
- Process payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, pay changes, garnishments, benefits, taxes, and manual checks
- Maintain and review payroll processing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile payroll-related schedules and maintain accurate payroll records and reports
- Assist with time and attendance processing and payroll system interfaces
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, file issues, and employee payroll questions
- Partner closely with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and compensation data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws, and company policies
- Support audits by preparing employee payroll records and documentation as needed
- Handle confidential payroll and employee information with discretion and professionalism
- Assist in identifying payroll process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Support the organization’s values, goals, and commitment to operational excellence
What We Are Looking For
- Strong understanding and application of payroll principles, rules and regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven payroll experience in a fast-paced organization.
- Demonstrate knowledge of operating a personal computer and its applications.
- Highly proficient in computer skills and technology.
- Proficient with payroll & HR software.
- Accurate and meticulous in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and sound judgment.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively and independently with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to develop and maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 / hour
