CNA - Day Shift - Dementia Experience Preferred

BAYADA has an urgent opening for a Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Bradenton, FL. 12-hour shifts, 8am-8pm and overnights 8p-8a. Dementia experience preferred. Available to start ASAP.

 Pay Range: $17-19/hour 

BAYADA offers Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs):

• Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA’s group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 32 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period.
• Home Care Field Employees working less than 32 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.

Qualifications for HHA/CNA – Home Health Aide/CNA:  

• Minimum one year work experience  
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide or CNA License OR 1 year of verifiable, hands-on experience working as a caregiver 
• BLS Certified CPR
• Level II Background Check (https://info.flclearinghouse.com/)

Job Responsibilities for HHA/CNA – Home Health Aides/Certified Nursing Assistant:

• Activities of daily living  
• Light housekeeping  
• Bathing  
• Grooming  
• Toileting  
• Nail care  
• Range of motion / exercises  
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices  
• Oral feeding  
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration  
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.  
• Assisting with ambulation  
• Medication assistance  
• Transportation
