The Utility Consultant plays a key role in implementing and configuring Entrata's utility solutions post-sale. This position ensures a seamless client onboarding experience by aligning software configurations with customer business needs and offering expert consultation throughout the implementation process. The role requires strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and collaboration with internal teams to uphold service quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities will include:
Lead post-sale consulting engagements to guide clients through onboarding and configuration of Entrata’s utility products.
Configure software based on client workflows to ensure accurate billing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain subject matter expertise through platform certification and continuous learning.
Troubleshoot implementation challenges, document findings, and escalate complex issues as needed.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Operations and Fulfillment to ensure seamless project handoff.
Support development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through clear communication and responsive support.
Communicate regulatory updates and support client compliance adjustments.
Configure and test software systems based on client specifications.
Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions.
Manage multiple implementation tasks concurrently while meeting established timelines.
Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, communications, and issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software implementation, utility billing, or a related field.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively by meeting deadlines and managing workload efficiently.
Proficient in Google Suite and capable of learning new platforms quickly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Maintain professional interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt existing solutions to unique client needs.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a client-facing or consultative role preferred.
Familiarity with the multifamily housing industry and utility regulations is a plus.
