We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support senior Department of Defense stakeholders with complex analytical and operations research tasks. In this role, you will apply deep subject matter expertise across military operations, force structure planning, and DoD policy to deliver data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions at the highest levels.
Responsibilities include leading DoD analytic and operations research teams in force structure planning, capability gap assessments, and force posture analysis; collecting, maintaining, and refining complex datasets spanning force structure modeling, operational readiness, and global logistics; interfacing directly with clients on data-driven policy decisions, requirements generation, and strategic planning; and querying and managing logistics and force inventories, personnel readiness databases, and intelligence reports using SQL.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in at least two of the following: military or operations research (including U.S. military operations, munitions, readiness, and deployment across air/space, ground, special operations, and maritime domains); the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process; or force and capability development within JCIDS or equivalent DoD frameworks. Candidates must additionally have seven (7) years of experience working with DoD stakeholders on complex dataset management, three (3) years of team lead experience on DoD analytic or operations research teams, and demonstrated SQL proficiency.
