About the Position:
The Data Analyst in the Systems & Reporting team supports data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role focuses on developing and managing data dashboards, maintaining data quality, and guiding the adoption of new data tools and standards. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who can simplify complex data and insights for senior stakeholders, enabling clear decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and manage data dashboards to provide real-time insights for stakeholders.

Support the collection, analysis, and synthesis of data to generate actionable insights.
Assist in developing and maintaining the Sequence Data and Information Framework.
Develop Power BI templates and standards to ensure consistency and quality across Sequence Alliance.
Guide and assist Sequence Alliance in the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and advanced data platforms, including Fabric IQ, data warehouse, data lake, and data lake-house.
Contribute to improving data and information management practices, including developing standards and best practices for data, information, and record handling and storage.
Assist in the development and maintenance of data applications and custom workflows.
Identify opportunities for improvement in data systems.
Actively support the use and integration of AI tools for data analysis and data systems, including assisting with the rollout of AI functions.
Assist in the development of data and information policies, procedures, and standards.
Support the data collection and analytics aspects of the KRA-KPI program and future operational KPI programs.
Provide training and guidance on data collection and best practices to project teams and individuals.
Collaborate on strategic initiatives that require data analysis support, including projects involving external stakeholders.
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data handling processes, tools, and practices.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., data analytics, information management, business, or related field).
Certification in data analysis or business intelligence (e.g., CBIP or similar) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis, metrics development, and data visualization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), MS Dataverse, Fabric IQ and related concepts.
Skills and expertise in data visualization and graphic design principles as they relate to dashboards and reports.
Ability to tell stories from data and take viewers on a journey, not just visualize data points.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support effective data communication with stakeholders.
Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and regulations related to data management, governance, and security. Government data requirements and standards knowledge an advantage.
