JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manages change orders and variation claims from subcontractors, prepares corresponding change order and variation claims to the Client, and maintains a complete register of all change orders.
- Collaborates closely with project teams and various disciplines (Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontractors) to support timely contract price adjustments and claims.
- Prepares documentation and substantiation for variation orders and claims in accordance with contract requirements and submits submissions to the Client with follow‑up until approval.
- Manages the full spectrum of subcontracting works, including claims administration, measurements, and bills of quantities.
- Prepares tender and subcontract documents, bid and subcontract checklists, and conducts bid and subcontract evaluations and summaries.
- Ensures main contract terms, project specifications, and requirements are fully incorporated into tender and subcontract documents.
- Monitors, reviews, and verifies subcontractors’ milestone and progress claims and invoices in a timely manner, and coordinates with internal cost control and finance teams for payment processing.
- Administers subcontracts, including issuance of work orders and day‑to‑day contractual management.
- Organises kick‑off meetings and other ad hoc meetings with subcontractors.
- Manages and maintains performance securities provided by subcontractors.
- Handles day‑to‑day contractual correspondence with subcontractors, including preparation and tracking of incoming and outgoing contractual letters.
- Procures subcontracting works within approved budgets and in compliance with company financial guidelines.
- Monitors subcontracting costs and ensures expenditure remains within allocated budgets.
- Manages subcontract close‑out activities, including dispute settlement, final accounts, completion certificates, and related contractual documentation.
- Participates in monthly cost reviews when required and manages warranty and defect claims, if any.
- Participates in project meetings and interfaces with cost control, procurement, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Performs ad hoc assignments as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Holds a Degree / Diploma in any Engineering disciplines or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experiences.
- Familiar with offshore platforms, modules, FPSOs, jackets, etc. and onshore petrochemical plants, renewable energy era will be an added advantage
- Good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to commit overtime as and when required

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5.15pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4.30pm
