Performance Standards and Expectations
You are an Administrator Customs with good administrative and communications skills. You understand the need to work well with others to achieve departmental goals and to complete the day-to-day customs activities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Customs execution • Completes all activities in line with the process descriptions and reports required updates • Completes all inbound related activities • Completes all outbound related activities • Supports Physical Customs Control (Fyco) • Be the owner of your import and export declarations and keep record of these documents. • Collects and manages CoE (Confirmation of Exit) • Completes the cites-process • Completes the return process • Identifies and solves primary errors between other systems and DMS • Operates according to AEO procedures and work instructions and reports irregularities to the Supervisor Customs • Logs AEO monitoring in line with the identified KPI and critical indicators • Collects and registers LTSD’s (Long term supplier declaration) / CoO (certificate of origin) • Provides proof of origin to the Chamber of commerce
2. Administrative execution • Play an active role in consulting the team what tasks on a daily business need to be performed. • Team up so that KPI’s and cross training can be achieved • Works independently • Maintains and develops your WMS and DMS skills where possible, according to the cross-train-matrix • Identifies potential optimization on administrative tasks • Identifies potential risks regarding the AEO standards and report these to the Supervisor Customs and / or Senior Manager Customs & Compliance
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
The above-mentioned responsibilities must be performed in such a way that the operational departments will not be facing any customs related hick ups in their day-to-day processes.
