Organizational Overview
Synchrony’s Strategic Partnerships and Agile team is an amalgamation of 4 sub verticals, SM (Supplier Management), CSS (Client Systems & Support) , OOA (Office of Agile) & SR (Strategic Relationships). Supplier Management & Strategic Relationship teams have the mission to maintain a right-sized, healthy, and dynamic portfolio of suppliers with the breadth and depth of capabilities to power Synchrony products and services while maintaining compliance with our Supplier Management program and reduce the 3rd party outsourcing risk. The Office of Agile(OOA) endeavours to support the enterprise-wide adoption and adherence to Lean-Agile principles through the promotion of progressive thinking, tools, and techniques. In addition, the Office of Agile strives to define organizational guidelines which identify, prioritize, align and successfully execute the strategic directives of senior leadership. The Client Systems Support (CSS) team delivers multi-platform configuration solutions to drive functionality behind many core processes across Synchrony’s credit and pay later products including loyalty programs and campaigns, cardholder pricing and billing, promotional financing, merchant processing, billing statement content, cardholder letters, and plastics.
Role Summary/Purpose
The AVP, Office of Agile – Tools Configuration & Intake Analyst role is responsible for serving as the workflow administrator for the various intake workflows in tools that are administered by the Office of Agile. The analyst assuming this role will have a fundamental understanding of the Common Intake Process and functionality of all the applications currently supported by the Office of Agile and will work in tandem with the VP, Office of Agile Tools Lead and support VP, Common Intake Process Leader to ensure alignment of applications in support of Agile governance parameters as well as serving the needs of the Agile Community of Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as SME for the oversight of Office of Agile applications including story validation/creation, roadmaps, objectives, grooming, PI Planning etc.
Be a champion for driving change to ensure the Office of Agile is taking an active role in supporting the Agile Delivery communities by disseminating guidance on usage of Agile Tools.
Support and be a change advocate for resolution of opportunities to simplify processes and enhance monitoring mechanisms resulting in an optimal control environment.
Identify insights in Office of Agile team / ART performance gaps to help drive improvements in tools and knowledge across the Agile Delivery communities.
Provide Agile enablement and performance services to Executives and their organizations. Offer strategic insight to evolve, streamline and mature Office of Agile Tools.
Directly support VP, Office of Agile Tools Lead to ensure timely and efficient execution of all Agile configurations and Integrations.
Directly support VP, Common Intake Process Leader to ensure timely and efficient execution of all Intake configurations.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of either Technology or Process Management experience, OR in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/G.E.D. and minimum of 10 years of either Technology or Process Management experience
Minimum 5 years of administrative experience of JIRA and Confluence.
Demonstrated experience of driving improvements across complex organizations and processes of varying levels of maturity
Minimum 5 years of experience in a lead role with a proven track record of strong leadership which includes training.
System Administration Experience in JIRA and Confluence
Tool Administration Experience in JIRA Align
Extensive experience in Groovy and Type scripting
Extensive experience in Common Intake/Ideation Systems
Knowledge of Change Governance Process
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge and demonstratable support of applications like Jira and Confluence
Extensive knowledge about workflows, restrictions, conditions, validators and automations in JIRA/Confluence
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies with SAFe certifications preferred.
Synchrony Experience preferred
Strong presentation and communication skills with a demonstrated business presence while interacting with senior business executives Proven experience with partnering, collaborating and influencing across a large multilayered organization at all levels
Proven experience handling multiple, and competing priorities across all stakeholder groups and effectively resolving competing priorities and interests with minimal disruption
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Strong oral and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, and facilitation skills

Demonstrate strong risk management mindset and behavior
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of either Technology or Process Management experience, OR in lieu of a degree 10 years of Technology or Process Management experience
Work Timings : 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST
