This role supports production objectives by ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to manufacturing standards while collaborating closely with production and engineering teams.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes for complex precision parts
- Read and interpret prints, specifications, and 3D models
- Optimize machining programs using CAM software (Surfcam, Mastercam, or similar)
- Design or recommend fixtures, soft jaws, and tooling solutions
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measurement tools
- Troubleshoot machining and process-related issues to maintain quality and delivery
REQUIREMENTS- Strong CNC lathe programming and setup experience
- Proficiency with CAM software and print interpretation
- Experience machining high-precision parts in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
