Vice President - Corporate Services - EMEA Head of Engineering

We're seeking someone to join our team as Head of Engineering for EMEA to lead Engineering & Critical Systems across the EMEA real estate portfolio. This role is accountable for the design oversight, operational integrity, and resilience of core building infrastructure including electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations across the region.

This is a Vice President position within the Corporate Services, Real Estate and Engineering team.

What you'll do in the role:

• Lead the 24x7 Engineering & Critical Systems environment across EMEA, ensuring resilience and uptime of all core MEP and life-safety infrastructure.
• Provide regional leadership for engineering oversight in capital projects, acting as Morgan Stanley's MEP authority across design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Manage and direct third-party engineering partners, ensuring effective operation, maintenance, and governance of critical assets.
• Partner with Facilities Management, Capital Projects, Workplace Strategy, and Regional
• Leadership to align engineering solutions with operational and business requirements.
• Oversee engineering risk, incident management, root-cause analysis, and remediation, strengthening system reliability and operational resilience.
• Drive engineering standards, quality assurance, and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, preferably within financial services or similarly complex operational environments.
• Strong experience across electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems in large commercial real estate portfolios.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, consultants, and complex service contracts.
• Experience delivering end-to-end project execution for major commercial fit out or infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder, client, and relationship-management skills at all organizational levels.
• Decisive leadership style with the ability to balance strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
• Professional engineering accreditations (e.g., Chartered Engineer or equivalent) beneficial but not required.
