Role Summary

The Finance Employee Communications Coordinator supports enterprise Finance and Cybersecurity communications by helping translate complex topics into clear, timely, and actionable content for employees. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this role works closely with the Finance and Cybersecurity Communications Lead to execute routine communications and ensure content is accurate, engaging, and delivered on time across HP’s internal platforms. This role helps ensure employees receive timely security guidance and trusted information—contributing to a stronger, security-first culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and manage internal communications and engagement initiatives, including the Finance Connect newsletter, announcements, and campaign distribution.
- Works independently on moderate scope problems, applying professional expertise, exercising judgment, and resolving various issues by following company policies and procedures.
- Drafts, formats, and sends routine email campaigns (e.g., newsletters, event invitations, awareness messages) supporting enterprise Finance and Cybersecurity communications.
- Supports web portal updates, including posting new content, making edits, and ensuring information is current and easy to find, tracks, measures, and reports measurements of success such as web traffic.
- Creates Viva Engage posts, monitor comments, and help escalate questions or feedback to subject matter experts.
- Lead video production efforts for Finance initiatives, including scripting, coordination, and delivery of content such as CFO Give a Wow videos, annual Halloween videos, etc.
- Coordinates Cyber Tech Talks and AEMs, including logistics, preparing run of shows, and sending invitations and follow-up communications.
- Lead end-to-end coordination of OCFO programs, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment are consistently met.
- Provides support for ad-hoc communications projects (e.g., site posters, Manager Central content) as needed.
- Maintains confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive executive-level information.
Skills & Experience
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in employee communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify technical or policy-based content for broad audiences.
- Familiarity with enterprise communication channels such as Poppulo, SharePoint OneSource sites, and Viva Engage.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks with set timelines.
- Interest in cybersecurity, risk awareness, or technology communications (technical expertise not required).

The pay range for this role is $65,600 to $101,000 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
