Job Description
The Bangalore office serves as Blackstone Private Wealth’s centralized delivery hub in India. It will provide scaled support to the global Private Wealth business across six core verticals: Sales Enablement, Research, Analytics, Marketing, Servicing and Administrative Services. The team partners closely with onshore leadership and functional teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution aligned with evolving business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Seeking an accomplished candidate to build, scale and lead the Private Wealth Bangalore office in India. This role will serve as the primary Bangalore leadership partner to onshore Private Wealth management, with responsibilities that include:
Lead overall strategy and execution of the Private Wealth Bangalore office in India
Provide direct leadership and oversight to Vice Presidents responsible for day-to-day execution across six core Private Wealth support verticals
Enforce clear governance, service expectations and accountability frameworks across all Bangalore office workstreams to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables
Act as the senior escalation point for complex, sensitive or time‑critical matters spanning multiple functional verticals or Private Wealth teams
Partner closely with onshore Private Wealth leadership to align Bangalore priorities with shifting business needs and strategic initiatives
Collaborate with both onshore and Bangalore functional leaders to drive continuous process optimization through automation and technology enhancement opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership at key centers of excellence to coordinate support for Private Wealth operations in India
Scale Bangalore model through strategic resource planning and capacity management
Foster a high‑performance culture emphasizing ownership, professionalism and discretion
Qualifications
Blackstone seeks to hire a senior leader who combines strategic judgment with strong operational execution and people leadership. The successful candidate must have:
MBA Finance with a strong academic record
20+ years of experience in financial services, asset management or wealth management with exposure to support operations
Prior experience leading large, multi‑functional global delivery organizations supporting both internal and client‑facing teams
Strong understanding of Private Wealth business models including sales, product support, client servicing and reporting needs
Experience driving operational transformation through process standardization, governance and technology enablement
High degree of professionalism, discretion and sound judgment
Demonstrated success in partnering effectively with senior global leaders and translating strategic priorities into scalable execution models.
Strong executive presence, with a proven track record of building alignment and influencing across geographies, functions, and perspectives.
Exceptional organizational, prioritization and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written / verbal English communication skills
