The Regional Lead, SEA Incubation Esports owns Moonton's regional flagship tournament product MCT SEA, and leads the strategic direction, commercial development, and operational quality of MLBB's incubation league portfolio across Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam. The role is the regional product owner for the developmental-to-flagship competitive pathway connecting all 11 SEA countries into MSC and the M-Series World Championship.
Responsibilities:
Own MCT SEA as the regional flagship product.
- Lead end-to-end design, operations, and commercialisation of the MCT SEA biannual tournament, including format, broadcast, talent acquisition, monetisation, and qualifier integration.
- Position MCT SEA as the most prestigious open regional circuit in SEA outside MPL franchise markets.
- Design and operate the qualification pathway connecting developmental leagues (ID, PH, MY) and incubation leagues (TH, SG, KH, MM, VN) into MCT SEA, and onward into MSC and M-Series.
Lead the SEA incubation league portfolio via a partnership-organiser model.
- Drive strategic direction, performance KPIs, and commercial outcomes for the Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam national leagues — operated through local organiser partnerships rather than direct in-house operations.
- Own the partner-organiser governance framework: contract architecture, scope definition, performance management, financial controls, and quality assurance across all third-party operators.
- With Thailand as the highest-priority incubation market, drive product-market fit, ecosystem depth, and competitive credibility. Allocate resources and prioritise interventions to maximise commercial and viewership return per market.
Drive revenue and commercial value across the regional portfolio.
- Build and execute monetisation strategy across sponsorship, media rights, merchandise, in-game activations, and structured team and community incentive programs.
- Extract additional value from existing partnerships and develop new commercial channels beyond sponsorship.
- Own the commercial narrative for MCT SEA and the incubation portfolio in regional business reviews.
Build brand, marketing, and audience growth at regional scale.
- Define product positioning, narrative architecture, and campaign direction for MCT SEA as a unified regional property and for each league in the portfolio.
- Partner closely with regional and country marketing teams to ensure execution delivers against league and tournament KPIs.
Lead stakeholder relationships across markets.
- Serve as the senior Moonton point of contact for organisers, professional teams, government partners, media rights holders, broadcasters, and brand partners across the incubation portfolio and MCT SEA.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Publishing, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Country GMs/PICs to ensure unified execution.
Build and lead a multi-country team.
- Build, manage, and develop a multinational team covering operations, partnerships, and commercial functions across the regional portfolio.
- Establish performance frameworks and operating rhythms that scale with portfolio growth.职位要求Requirements:
- 7+ years in esports, gaming, sports, or live entertainment, with at least 3 years owning a product, market, or business unit with full commercial accountability.
- Demonstrated experience operating competitive leagues or tournaments at a regional or multi-country scale — either directly or through a partnership-organiser or federation model.
- Experience in game publishing or working with game publishers at a senior commercial or operational interface.
- 3+ years of team management experience, including managing managers or leading distributed/multinational teams. Prior experience leading teams of 5+ strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of driving revenue through sponsorship, media rights, merchandise, or platform-level monetisation. Specific media-rights or OTT licensing experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen — comfortable with deal structuring, partner contract architecture, and financial modelling at portfolio level.
- Fluent in English. Working proficiency in Mandarin strongly preferred for internal Moonton coordination. Additional SEA market language (Thai, Vietnamese, Khmer, Burmese, Bahasa) is a plus.
- High cultural sensitivity across SEA markets. Comfortable operating in ambiguous, multi-country, multi-stakeholder environments.投递
