Join a small café at the heart of a retirement village
CG on Beck is a local café at the centre of our Carlyle Gardens Retirement Village community, and we’re looking for a friendly Café All-Rounder to join our small, supportive team.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, connection, and the simple satisfaction of a job well done. No two days are the same, and you’ll be genuinely appreciated for the work you do.
Our opening hours in a normal week would be 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday with future plans to include a few nights a week for dinner and bar service. An overview of your day will include but not limited to:
Supporting day-to-day café operations across front and back of house
Preparing food and drinks
Providing warm, genuine customer service
Keeping the café clean, organised, and running smoothly
Being part of a close-knit team that looks out for one another

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
Previous café or hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential
RSA and Food Handling certificates desired, but can be obtained
A genuine people-person who enjoys a welcoming, community-focused space
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
