Block by Block is seeking to hire an Operations Supervisor to provide oversight of our Ambassador Team.
Our Ambassador programs make communities and Downtown Business Improvement Districts much friendlier, cleaner, and safer. This, in turn, increases the number of visitors, businesses, and residents, which ultimately increases revenue and livability.
The Operations Supervisor position is the "Lead Ambassador" in charge of all aspects of our program, including personnel management, equipment management, and resource management, along with deployments of the team. This role works directly with our clients to not only deliver daily Ambassador services throughout the districts but also deliver continual program improvements, as well.
We're looking for someone with strong leadership and customer service skills, executive-level budgeting skills, and most of all, a great work ethic. This leader will wear many different hats and have to be able to work quickly to solve problems. We need an independent thinker and someone who can maintain a great culture for our Ambassadors, as well as the clients we serve.

Qualifications Professionalism: Must maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and overall Block by Block standards of expected professionalism. Physical Abilities: Must have the physical capacity to walk continuously during an eight hour shift, with normal breaks (two fifteen minutes, and one thirty minute meal break). Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions with provided inclement weather gear. Communication: Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports. Computer Skills: Must be proficient in computer usage and in Microsoft Office products.
