GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) is a full-service engine overhaul and repair station located at Helsinki International Airport in Vantaa, Finland, specializing in both heavy maintenance and light repairs (SPAH) for General Electric and CFM International engines.
We are now looking for Jet Engine Mechanics with no prior aviation experience to join our hospital shop visit team (SPAH) in our steadily developing and international company. The team is responsible for performing repairs, inspections and troubleshooting on quick turnaround engines.
Our ideal candidate has good technical skills and is active and motivated to learn. We don’t expect you to have previous aviation experience as we will provide you with required training to gain the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to specialize in overhaul and repairs of CFM56-5B/7B & CF6-80C2 jet engines. This is a full-time permanent position in a steadily growing company.
Requirements for the role:
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a mechanic, for example in car industry, forestry etc.
Good manual skills and the ability to use tools correctly
Experience with reading technical drawings
Good English language skills to communicate, be able to read & interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins. Finnish is a plus

The starting salary for this position is 2522€/month (according to IAU CLA, Paygrade 7) with possibility for additional increases based on experience, skills, and performance.
