Role Description
This role is responsible for the engineering, operations, and continuous advancement of enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services, ensuring performance, reliability, and alignment with enterprise standards.
DDI Engineering & Operations
Design, implement, and operate enterprise DNS services, including internal name resolution, zone management, resiliency, and troubleshooting.
Design, implement, and operate DHCP services, including scope architecture, lease policies, option configuration, and client impact coordination.
Administer and continuously improve IP Address Management (IPAM) practices, including address planning, allocation processes, reclamation, and data accuracy.
Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, and best practices for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM to ensure global consistency and reduce technical debt.
Ensure DDI services integrate effectively with enterprise networking, security controls, and identity-dependent services.
Service Delivery & Operational Support
Provide Level 3 support for DDI-related incidents and complex issues, including structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Support non-incident service requests using established ITSM processes (e.g., ServiceNow), ensuring traceability, documentation, and predictable delivery.
Participate in on-call or escalation rotations as required to maintain service reliability.
Coordinate with regional teams and external support providers for escalations as needed.
Reliability, Monitoring & Availability
Engineer DDI services to meet enterprise availability, resiliency, and performance expectations.
Partner with monitoring and operations teams to ensure proper alerting, logging, and visibility across DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
Proactively identify reliability risks and implement corrective or preventative improvements.
Platform Maturity & Strategic Initiatives
Contribute to enterprise initiatives focused on improving DDI maturity, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Support evaluation, planning, implementation, and transition activities for DDI enhancements and new capabilities.
Assist with operational readiness activities, including documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
Documentation & Standards
Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including architecture diagrams, standards, runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.

Other Requirements
Completed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience required
CCNA certification is required upon hire, or must be obtained within six months of starting the role.
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking environments, with hands-on experience in DNS, DHCP, and/or IPAM.
CCNP or equivalent advanced networking certification
Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale DDI architectures.
Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, APIs) to improve operational efficiency.
Experience contributing to platform standardization, service catalogs, or reference architectures.
Experience supporting hybrid environments across on-premises, data center, and cloud-connected networks.
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $125,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
