This is a sole charge RVN role, requiring confidence and strong clinical ability.
The Team
Each site currently has:
- 1 Lead Vet
- 1 PCA (both highly experienced and long-standing team members)
You will be the only RVN across both sites, but you will be supported by:
- An experienced CNM
- Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- The wider Winchmore Hill team (via weekend integration)
Working Pattern
- 8-hour shifts:
- 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 10:30am – 7:00pm
- Mix of early, mid, and late shifts (set rota)
- 1 in 4 Saturdays at Winchmore Hill
- 1 bank holiday per year (9:00am – 2:30pm, time off in lieu)
Support & Development
Although this is a sole charge role, support is built in:
- Direct support from CNM and SLT
- Integration with the Winchmore Hill team to build relationships
- Opportunity to influence and develop practice performance
- Potential future team growth, including additional RVNs
This role is positioned as a step into leadership, with real input into how the practices operate.

- 3+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Confident working in a sole charge environment
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Interest in team development and business performance
What We Offer
- Salary around £38,000 DOE
- Support from experienced leadership team
- Opportunity to step into a true leadership role
- Exposure to multi-site working and business development
