The NZ PIF program aims to strengthen the psychiatry workforce in Aotearoa New Zealand by delivering targeted, culturally appropriate initiatives for medical students and doctors who are considering a career in psychiatry.
A key focus of the program is to increase the number of New Zealand medical students — including Māori and Pasifika medical students — as well as resident medical officers and junior doctors, who seek entry into the RANZCP Fellowship training program.
In this role, you will contribute to the successful delivery of the program through project and event coordination, program implementation, reporting, and evaluation.
