

For our site in Gratkorn, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Director – System Architect to join our innovative team. In this key role, you will drive the architecture and technical direction of cutting-edge UHF RFID systems, working closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Technical Leads to define and refine detailed product requirements based on customer needs
Design robust and scalable system architectures aligned with defined requirements and customer use cases
Define and drive system integration and validation concepts and plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Support product development teams throughout implementation and validation phases, ensuring high product quality and technical excellence
Act as a technical interface to key customers from product definition through production ramp-up, proactively addressing new requirements and complex system issues
Conduct in-depth technical investigations of competitor products to identify trends and opportunities
Active participation and influence in standardization activities in for RFID, UHF area (i.e. EPC)
Engage and collaborate with global teams, contributing technical leadership across regions
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 15 + years of relevant industry experience
Proven expertise in system architecture development for UHF RFID, wearables, or IoT devices
Solid understanding of wireless communication technologies and radio systems
Basic knowledge of UHF measurement techniques
Understanding of product development lifecycles and engineering processes
Excellent communication, abstraction, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
