Life at Gloat:
Gloat is a revolutionary startup with a global workforce. We have offices in Tel Aviv, New York City and London and work with customers around the globe. We value collaboration, innovative thinking, and curiosity and we’re looking for bright, driven, and passionate people to grow with us. If you care about empowering businesses and people to reach their potential, you’re in for a fun ride.
Gloat is looking for a talented, hands-on, tech-savvy IT Specialist to own our end-to-end global IT operations and take it to the next level in the agentic AI era.
Reporting directly to the CISO, you will own our core SaaS stack, end-user support, and IT infrastructure end-to-end.
You're equally comfortable running the day-to-day and thinking strategically about automation, AI-driven workflows, and how IT can enable the business.
What You'll Do
● Own and administer Gloat's core applications - JumpCloud, Google Workspace, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Slack, Zoom, Jira and on - including provisioning, configuration, and licence management.
● Serve as the primary global IT support escalation point, ensuring timely response and support for employees across different time zones for our predominantly macOS fleet, with coverage for a minority Windows environment.
● Manage the full employee IT lifecycle: on-boarding, off-boarding, device procurement, and access management for our global employees.
● Partner with the CISO to ensure endpoint security policies, MDM configurations, and access controls meet compliance requirements.
● Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for Agentic AI adoption in IT service delivery, championing self-service and autonomous resolution capabilities.
● Define, document, and continuously improve IT processes, runbooks, and SLA-based ticketing workflows in Jira.
● Identify and drive automation opportunities across IT operations, reducing toil through scripting, workflow tools, and AI-assisted ticket resolution.
● Evaluate, procure, and onboard new tools and vendors, negotiating contracts and managing renewals.
● Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure hardware refresh cycles are planned and budgeted.
What We're Looking For
● 3–5 years of hands-on IT Domain full ownership experience or senior IT engineering experience, ideally in a fast-growing SaaS or global tech company.
● Proven expertise administering Google Workspace and JumpCloud (or a comparable cloud-based identity and device management platform).
● Strong working knowledge of macOS device management (MDM), with familiarity in mixed macOS/Windows environments.
● Experience implementing or experimenting with Agentic AI tooling (e.g. AI-driven helpdesk bots, autonomous ticket triage).
● Proficiency with Jira or similar ITSM/ticketing systems.
● Practical experience with, IT automation and AI Coding- scripting (Bash, Python, or equivalent), workflow automation, or AI-assisted IT operations.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to diagnose complex technical issues under pressure.
● Excellent communication skills - able to translate technical concepts clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
● High sense of ownership, self-direction, and the ability to manage competing priorities without close supervision.
● Demonstrated ability to work effectively and communicate clearly with a global employee base, managing priorities and support in various time zones with cultural sensitivity.
Our Tech Stack
● Identity & MDM: JumpCloud
● Productivity: Google Workspace
● Endpoint Security: CrowdStrike
● Ticketing & ITSM: Jira
● Device fleet: macOS (majority), Windows (minority)
Nice to Have
● Background in a high-growth B2B SaaS company or a startup environment.
● Experience managing external IT vendors.
● Understanding cloud infrastructure and development environments.
● Experience and basic understanding with security domain - preferably CrowdStrike - and SIEM platforms such as Splunk.
