Job Description – Google Cloud Automation Engineer / Practitioner

Experience: 4–8 years

Location: India (Hybrid / Remote as applicable)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Google Cloud Practitioner with strong automation experience to design and deliver scalable, cloud‑native automation solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on automating end‑to‑end business processes across Finance, Operations, IT, Risk, and other enterprise functions.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and build automation solutions on GCP using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Workflows, Pub/Sub, and Scheduler

· Automate business and IT processes across multiple enterprise domains

· Develop API‑based and event‑driven integrations with internal and external systems

· Implement infrastructure and configuration automation using IaC tools (Terraform preferred)

· Develop automation scripts using Python, Java, or JavaScript

· Ensure security, performance, reliability, and cost‑optimization best practices

· Monitor, support, and continuously improve production automations

· Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 4–8 years of experience in Automation and Cloud Platforms

· Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

· Strong programming or scripting skills (Python preferred)

· Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and system integrations

· Understanding of business process automation concepts

Nice to Have

· Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate)

· Exposure to ServiceNow, ERP, Finance, or Operations systems

· CI/CD and DevOps experience

· Google Cloud certifications (Associate or Professional)

· Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset

· Clear communication and stakeholder‑management skills

· Ability to work across multiple processes and priorities
