A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Employee Relations (ER) team as an Senior ER Consultant within our global People function. If you are an established HR professional with an expert knowledge of European Employment Law and people policies and practices, then don’t miss out on this opportunity that will see you working across multiple business lines.
A role you will love
As Senior ER Consultant, you will be accountable for the provision of employment law and case management advice and coaching to managers across Computershare. You will provide support to people change programmes and participate in projects to improve the offering of the Employee Relations function.
Other key responsibilities:
- Provide managers with advice and guidance on employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, performance and sickness absence to ensure matters are resolved quickly and effectively and in compliance with the relevant CPU policies
- Ensure cases are escalated and referred to the relevant teams where matters are highly complex, or involve high risk, in line with agreed escalation matrices
- Maintain integrity of records and documentation required for employee relations issues
- Partner with legal department and external advisors to solve complex ER issues and keep abreast of the changing legal landscape to ensure these are effectively implemented into company policies and procedures
- Identify themes and trends in order to provide training and upskilling to our managers across our business units
- Produce and analyse ER related data, identifying solutions as necessary and contribute to related
- People Team and business orientated projects, providing ER subject matter expertise
- Support allocated ER activities within change programmes across the organisation, collaborating with colleagues to ensure people changes are effectively managed and implemented
- Provide or ensure delivery of specialist advice and coaching to managers and employees to implement Employee Relations processes and policies, ensuring there is alignment across the organisation and that jurisdictional compliance is ensured with all advice provided
- Provide advice and input into wider People policies, including where there is local variance
- Ensuring our policies are up to date and legally compliant
- Support the wider People Team on people matters across Continental Europe, providing guidance on local employment law considerations, cultural practice, and jurisdictional variance
What will you bring to the role?
We’d expect you to have a working knowledge of People policies and practices, especially employment law and regulatory impacts with prior experience operating across Continental Europe. You will also bring with you an extended professional network you can tap into for Employee Relations issues. You will have robust casework experience and be comfortable coaching managers through complex issues. Passion and dedication is key to this role, as will be the ability to coach and upskill our managers, the focus being on fantastic customer service at all times.
What else are we looking for?
- Relevant professional HR qualification or significant ER case management / litigation experience
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely both verbally and in written format in English and German (Polish would also be beneficial)
- Strong ethics and values, identifies with and strongly aligns to our culture
- Successfully established and developed strong, trust based, relationships at across all levels, through strong presence, gravitas, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to work within remote teams and work collaboratively within a global environment
- Good knowledge of how a sizeable, commercial organisation works
- Experienced at working to tight deadlines and meeting or exceeding SLA’s
- Highly organised with a methodical approach and an eye for detail
- Fluent in English, written and spoken

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is PLN 107,564 - PLN 153.279 (Gross) Annually
