MSS Security are seeking dedicated Security Officers to join our team as a Full Time Reliever at Monash University in Caulfield. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the campus. You will be responsible for conducting foot patrols, securing buildings, and providing support to students, staff and visitors.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure.
• Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required.
• Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.
• Provide clear directions and assistance to students, staff, and visitors to ensure they can navigate the campus efficiently.
• Write reports in response to incidents or unusual activity, ensuring all information is documented.
• Communicate calmly, clearly, and effectively with staff, students, and visitors.​

Requirements:

• Full Australian working rights
• Valid Victorian Security licence
• Valid Victorian Drivers licence
• Employee Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain)
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and professional presentation.
• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
• Ability to walk up to 15-20km a day.
