The Opportunity
Structural Heart Territory Manager CEE (TAVI) – Prague, Czech Republic
The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for developing Structural Heart (SH) therapies and driving commercial success across a defined region in Eastern Europe. This role focuses on building strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, managing key accounts, and expanding access to TAVI therapy in close collaboration with distributors.
The TM plays a critical role in both business development and clinical support, working closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes and successful therapy adoption.
What You’ll Do
Account Management
Manage and develop Structural Heart accounts to achieve therapy and sales objectives
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (interventional cardiologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, cath lab staff)
Facilitate coordination of patient pathways, scheduling, and clinical workflows
Drive account-specific training and education programs
Clinical & Technical Support (TAVI)
Provide on-site clinical and technical support during TAVI procedures
Train physicians and cath lab staff on Abbott Structural Heart technologies
Support patient screening and selection where needed
Assist in product handling, inventory management, and procedural setup
Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities and accounts
Support distributors and business partners in expanding therapy adoption
Contribute to sales forecasting and business case development
Participate in commercial discussions and strategy execution
Training & Proctoring
Obtain and maintain proctor certification
Deliver field-based training programs for clinicians and hospital staff
Demonstrate procedural best practices and techniques
Data & Therapy Dissemination
Share clinical data and therapy updates following major congresses
Ensure stakeholders are informed about latest advancements in TAVI therapy
Required Qualifications & Background
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field preferred
Significant experience in TAVI, cath lab, or cardiovascular field
Strong clinical acumen with hands-on procedural support experience
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong commercial mindset with ability to achieve sales targets
High level of adaptability and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Valid driving license
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel extensively (50%+ across the region)
Ability to work in cath lab environments (including use of lead apron)
Fluency in English and Czech (or strong regional language capability)
