The Senior Project Manager – Berlin is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of assigned automotive programs for European Tier 1 and OEM customers. This role combines full lifecycle project management with a strong onsite customer interface, representing Seeing Machines for delivery activities in Berlin.
While working closely with the relevant Business Unit counterpart, the role reports into Project Delivery and is accountable for delivery governance, execution discipline, and alignment with Seeing Machines’ global project management framework. Due to geographic separation from the core Project Delivery leadership team, the role requires strong autonomy, judgement, and clear communication.
Provide leadership and ownership of automotive program delivery
Project management across the full product lifecycle from concept through SOP and post‑SOP support
Act as the primary onsite delivery interface for European Tier 1 and OEM customers
Plan and track all elements of project delivery including scope, schedule, budget and quality
Identify, analyse, and actively manage project risks and issues
Chair internal and customer meetings, driving decision‑making and issue resolution
Coordinate delivery activities across global engineering, systems, software, hardware, quality and operations teams
Liaise with engineering technical leaders to support timely and informed decisions
Ensure adherence to Seeing Machines’ project governance, change control and approval processes
Organise Change Control Boards (CCB) and manage customer change requests
Provide accurate, timely, and clear project status reporting to senior stakeholders
Formal qualifications in Engineering, Technology, Science, or a related discipline.
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) desirable.
5+ years of project management experience in technical or product development environments.
Experience delivering automotive programs for Tier 1 and/or OEM customers strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of software and hardware development lifecycles. Experience working in a global, matrixed organisation.
Highly autonomous and self‑directed. Strong judgement and delivery discipline.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Confident operating in customer‑facing environments.
German and French language skills are a plus.
