The Crane Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance and mechanical repairs ensuring safe and efficient operation of deck crane equipment and machinery.
- Inspect, maintain and repair mechanical systems and components
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret diagrams
- Install new mechanical systems and components, Perform tests on mechanical components and systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of mechanical systems
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma achievement, Heavy Equipment Servicing (Mechanical) NC II preferred
- At least 3 years experience in servicing/maintenance of Cranes and Heavy equipment, Shipboard deck crane experience is preferred.
- Work experience in vessel operations preferable.
- Planned Maintenance system experience
