We are seeking an experienced Outcomes Nurse (RN) to support our Vascular Surgery Outcomes Program, with a focus on maintaining high-quality data submission and performance improvement across a complex and high-acuity surgical population.
This role supports participation in a nationally recognized vascular registry program and is essential to maintaining compliance with CMS-mandated and accreditation-related reporting requirements, including those tied to carotid interventions and stroke prevention initiatives.
The vascular surgery program is a high-volume, high-complexity service line with a strong reputation for outcomes excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration across regional and national partners.
Clinical Data & Outcomes Management
- Review patient charts and abstract clinical data for vascular surgery registry reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of data to internal and external reporting systems
- Collaborate with vascular surgeons and clinical teams to improve documentation and outcomes
- Support data entry, queries, and analysis for departmental projects and reporting
- Partner with MD leadership to validate data accuracy and integrity
Professional Oversight & Expertise
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of registry definitions, requirements, and best practices
- Participate in registry education, meetings, and professional development
- Collaborate with Health Care Quality, Peer Review Committees, and Health Information Management
- Stay informed on evolving standards in vascular surgery and stroke prevention care
Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a clinical leader within the Outcomes team
- Work independently while contributing to team goals and deadlines
- Partner with physician champions and service line leaders to drive improvements
- Support coordination and consistency across registry-related workflows
Reporting & Performance Improvement
- Prepare and present benchmark and outcomes reports to leadership and performance improvement teams
- Identify negative trends and escalate to appropriate stakeholders
- Support clinical research initiatives through registry data analysis and collaboration
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time, 40-hours per week
- Monday–Friday, business hours with some flexibility
- Hybrid work: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Experience in vascular surgery, cardiovascular care, or high-acuity surgical settings preferred
- Strong understanding of quality of care and outcomes measurement
- Experience with clinical data abstraction, reporting, or registry work strongly preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
