We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer to support and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance and security across a wide range of network technologies including Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, Cisco ISE, Cisco switches, routers, and wireless, SD-WAN, network device patching, and network monitoring tools.
Network Operations & Monitoring
· Monitor network performance and availability using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent.
· Respond to alerts, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
· Maintain operational documentation including network diagrams, incident logs, and change records.
Security & Access Control
· Operate and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls, managing policies and updates via Panorama.
· Support Cisco ISE for network access control, including 802.1X authentication and guest access.
· Ensure compliance with security standards and assist in vulnerability remediation.
Infrastructure Support
· Perform configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco switches, routers, and wireless access points.
· Support SD-WAN operations including link monitoring, policy updates, and failover testing.
· Assist in network expansions, migrations, and upgrades.
Patching & Maintenance
· Schedule and apply firmware and software patches to network devices in accordance with change management policies.
· Track patch compliance and maintain version control across all network hardware.
Reporting & Collaboration
· Generate regular reports on network health, uptime, and incident trends.
· Collaborate with engineering and security teams to improve network reliability and
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· 5–8 years of experience in network operations or support roles.
· Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Panorama, Cisco ISE, Cisco switching/routing/wireless, SD-WAN, and patching processes.
· Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ITSM platforms.
· Certifications such as PCNSA, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
