Role Summary
This Business Analyst (BA) brings together three areas: growth of and support for the AI Champions program, coordination of business AI requests, and owning the training and enablement of tools that the GD GenAI program delivers. They work with Sr. AI Product Managers and AI Champions to time user enablement with product releases, tracking adoption and usage KPIs.
Responsibilities
- AI Champions network (ownership): Independently own and mature the AI Champions program across Global Distribution, setting role expectations, keeping playbooks current, running a regular cadence, and serving as the single point of contact for Champions and business partners.
- AI Champions network (support & visibility): Coach Champions on practical use of AI tools; synthesize user/stakeholder feedback into clear improvements; provide leadership with concise updates on progress, risks, and what is needed to unlock value.
- Business-driven AI requests (intake & routing): Act as the front door for priority AI requests that aren’t on a major roadmap; quickly assess scope, data needs, potential value, and risks and recommend the delivery approach; align stakeholders on the plan.
- Business-driven AI requests (delivery & handoff): Lead business analysis across delivery approaches, clarify the problem and success measures, translate needs into lightweight requirements, coordinate user validation, and plan a clean handoff to business and technology owners with clear support and adoption plans.
- Training & skill development (ownership): Own the enablement and training plan for the GD GenAI Program’s tools and capabilities; map role-based skills to the outcomes targeted by GD GenAI Strategy; coordinate curriculum and delivery with various GD and Enterprise training and development teams, platform owners, and Sr. Product Managers; be accountable for the plan and outcomes.
- Training & skill development (execution & outcomes): Stand up practical learning paths for AI Champions and end users (short modules, hands-on labs, office hours, etc.); partner with Sr. Product Managers and AI Champions to sequence enablement with product releases and drive adoption; track proficiency and adoption indicators tied to GD GenAI Strategy OKRs, and feed insights into program reporting and backlogs.

Qualifications
Required:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, communications, information systems, or a related field and 5+ years in roles such as management consulting, internal strategy, digital/AI transformation, or product/analytics consulting where you designed and implemented new ways of working across teams.
- Advanced GenAI and LLM expertise: Strong grasp of generative AI, large language models, and agentic AI business use cases. Hands on with prompts, agent-builder tools, evaluation approaches, and safe use patterns. Able to separate hype from value.
- Business and technical translation: Turns complex AI concepts into plain English for business partners, then converts business needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria for engineers and data teams using Excel and/or BI tools.
- Vision and systems building: Able to define a vision for new operating models for AI usage, training, and request handling, then break that vision into practical processes, templates, and routines that can be tested and improved over time.
- Operating model creation: Designs and maintains cross-team workflows for intake, communications, playbooks, and simple tracking using digital tools. Comfortable creating structure where none exists.
- Enablement and adoption ownership: Builds role-based enablement tied to releases and owns adoption outcomes. Sets targets with product leaders and reports progress with clear actions.
- Communication and stakeholder management: Excellent written and verbal communication. Aligns power users, managers, SMEs, and senior partners with concise updates and reliable follow-through.
- Analytical skills: Comfortable analyzing usage and adoption data in multiple analytics platforms and turning insights into actions that move KPIs.
- Self-starter and builder: Resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity. Proven ability to create something from scratch and improve it over time. Early adopter of AI and modern productivity tools.
Preferred:
- Advanced education: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Professional certifications: Business analysis or Agile credentials such as CBAP, CPOA, CSM, or SAFe.
- Technical foundation: Education or prior role in computer science, data science, AI/ML, or business analytics.
- Agentic workflow familiarity: Exposure to multi-step AI workflows, prompt chaining, human in the loop designs, and basic eval concepts.
- Industry experience: Financial services or another regulated environment with experience coordinating Legal, Risk, or Compliance inputs.
- Community development experience: Experience designing and running communities of practice, user groups, or ambassador networks, including defining the purpose, engagement model, communications, and success measures.
- Enablement and learning tools: Experience building short training modules, office hours, and quick reference guides in common enterprise tools and aligning them with specific outcomes.
- Portfolio and intake experience: Experience triaging/routing a pipeline of requests and use cases, estimating value and complexity, and helping stakeholders align on what to do now versus later.

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
