

The Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) is a dedicated team committed to delivering comprehensive support across the entire student life cycle – from admission and matriculation to graduation and beyond the classroom. SASD works collaboratively with schools, colleges, and autonomous institutes to ensure a seamless and enriching academic journey for all students.
In support of SASD’s work, this role sits within the Library Services Division under the Office of Information, Knowledge and Library Services (OIKLS). It applies instructional design principles to translate learning needs into reusable learning objects across interactive modules, video-based learning, and other relevant formats.
We are looking for a creative and technically capable individual to design and produce high-quality learning objects that support teaching and learning at scale. You will partner with stakeholders and teams to deliver engaging, accessible resources that enhance the learner experience and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop engaging learning objects and learning assets across formats (interactive modules, video, and immersive experiences where relevant).
Develop and deliver video learning objects end-to-end, including storyboarding, scripting, filming, and editing.
Work with stakeholders to identify learning needs and deliver effective learning object-based solutions.
Apply instructional design principles to ensure learning effectiveness and engagement.
Use data and feedback to evaluate and continuously improve learning objects and delivery.
Publish and manage learning objects within learning platforms (e.g., LMS) and explore new tools and approaches to enhance learning object design and delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Learning Design, Educational Technology, Media, Communications, Design, or related fields).
At least 3 years of relevant experience in learning design, digital media, or content development.
Demonstrated experience in designing and developing learning objects/assets across formats.
Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise).
Experience with media production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard).
Strong ability to translate learning needs into effective solutions.
Experience in video production (storyboarding, filming, editing).
Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or emerging learning technologies (e.g., AR/VR).
Experience using data or analytics to improve learning outcomes.
