Secure and optimize mission critical databases that support F-35 flight operations. Data integrity, performance and availability drive operational readiness.
Together with Belgian Defence, ILIAS Solutions manages the full data lifecycle of the F-35 ALIS and ODIN environments at Kleine Brogel Air Base.
As Senior Database Administrator, you own performance, security and continuity across ALIS and ODIN. You lead database operations in a controlled environment where precision and consistency matter.
Full-time on-site presence required.
Your databases support real flight operations. Data must be accurate, available and secure to enable reliable decisions.
You work in a controlled environment with strict procedures and high availability. You manage Oracle and SQL Server, tune performance and run structured backup and recovery with tools such as RMAN and Data Pump.
You deliver stable and secure database environments. You reduce risk, support continuity and ensure consistent system performance.
You ensure stable, secure and high-performing database environments within defined procedures.
• Manage and optimize Oracle databases across ALIS and ODIN
• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server
• Execute backup, restore and disaster recovery (RMAN, Data Pump)
• Monitor and improve performance and availability
• Maintain data integrity and security
• Support scripting and automation (Shell, Batch or similar)
• Lead and coordinate database activities
• Work within structured procedures and change control
• Fleet Management through reliable data environments
• Expeditionary Operations through secure systems
• Total Asset Visibility through consistent data
• MRO and Sustainment through stable database operations
• 5+ years as Database Administrator
• Strong experience with Oracle RDBMS and SQL Server
• Experience with RMAN, Data Pump or SQLPlus
• Solid knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience in mission critical or controlled environments
• Ability to lead and coordinate database work
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to perform under pressure
• Willingness to support operations, including on-call if needed
• Professional communication in English
