Position Purpose
Where Skill Meets Heart
What if your next veterinary role didn’t just check boxes—but actually felt right?
At Animal Medical Centre in Greensboro, NC, we’re building something special: a place where medicine is practiced with curiosity, teamwork is genuine, and every patient is treated like family. We’re a close-knit, two-doctor team looking to welcome a third veterinarian who’s ready to grow, contribute, and truly enjoy the work they do.
Who we areWe’re primarily a small animal practice—but our days are rarely predictable. One appointment might be a routine wellness visit, the next a complex internal medicine case, and somewhere in between you might meet a pocket pet, exotic companion, or feathered friend. Our doctors bring a wide range of interests to the table—from preventative care to urgent cases, advanced diagnostics, and intricate surgical procedures. We collaborate often, support each other fully, and believe great medicine happens best as a team effort.
What you’ll get to doThis role can be shaped around your interests and strengths:
- Surgery-minded? You’ll see a steady caseload including spay/neuter, C-sections, mass removals, foreign body surgeries, stenotic nares repair, and dental procedures with extractions.
- Love the pace of urgent care? We intentionally leave room in our schedule for drop-offs and same-day needs—because we know not everything can wait.
- Enjoy variety? You’ll experience a mix of wellness, medical workups, and the occasional unique or challenging case that keeps things interesting.
Support that actually supports youWhether you’re a seasoned DVM or a brand-new graduate, you’ll be met with respect and real support. New grads receive personalized mentorship tailored to your comfort level and goals—not a one-size-fits-all approach. You’ll never feel like you’re figuring it out alone.
