The Group Operations Senior Associate is responsible for the end-to-end processing of group new business and the effective management of group account collections. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant processing of transactions while supporting operational efficiency, service quality, and revenue protection.New Business Processing:
• Process and review group new business applications, endorsements, and renewals in accordance with established procedures and service level agreements. KYC, After-Sales, coordination, etc.
• Validate completeness and accuracy of submitted documents, including proposals, member data, and premium computations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Account Management, Underwriting, and related internal teams to resolve discrepancies and processing issues.
• Monitor post-QA findings and ensure timely completion of required corrections and follow-ups.
• Maintain proper documentation, record-keeping, and system updates to ensure audit readiness and operational transparency.
Group Account Collections:
• Monitor group account premium collections and ensure timely posting and reconciliation of payments.
• Follow up on outstanding premiums and coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Account Management for collection resolution.
• Prepare and maintain accurate collection reports, aging schedules, and status updates for management review.
• Support controls and segregation of duties in line with internal policies to mitigate operational and financial risk.
Operational Support & Controls:
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, operational controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing risk.
• Support operational audits, reviews, and data requests as required.
