Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant provides support and communicates information in a timely manner to ensure the smooth functioning of the various programs. The Administrative Assistant provides basic program and project support to the affiliate. This is a federally grant-funded position under the GEAR UP initiative.
Pay: $28.85/hour

Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking and maintaining information related to staff, trainings, licenses, evaluations and referrals.
- Ensure that necessary paperwork is current and available for staff at all locations.
- Prepare purchase orders, submit for approval prior to completing orders and coordinate delivery.
- Assist in the scheduling of rooms at various locations.
- Answer telephone and give information to callers or route call to the appropriate person.
- Make copies of correspondence or other printed materials for distribution.
- Assist in the maintenance of client records and release of information forms, ensuring that all pertinent paperwork is in place timely.
- Assist with special projects as requested.
- Complete basic quality assurance functions.
- Assist with training staff on the electronic health records (EHR) and email systems.
- Work in varying locations and on various projects as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Skills and Knowledge:
- Accurate data entry skills; proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Excellent telephone and organizational skills required
Valid Driver’s license, ability to drive and means of transportation
Travel to other cities and towns may be required
